The 5th International Workshop on Nanotechnology and Application - IWNA 2015


 Travel

IWNA Local Organizing Committee is pleased to arrange the free transfer for all participants attending the IWNA 2015 with the following schedules:

 

I. Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau

 

On Wednesday, 11th November, 2015.

 

a) For invited speakers and international participants:

IWNA Local Organizing Committee will arrange a representative to pick-up Invited speakers and International participants at Tan Son Nhat Airport - Ho Chi Minh City as follows:

Pick-up hour: from 8:00 to 16:00. Outside the pick-up time, participants will have to arrange the transfer by themselves. 

Travel plan: The buses will leave in turn at 13:00, 13:30, 14:00, 14:30.
The buses will collect the Guests at the Southern Office of Ministry of Education and Training, 03 Cong Truong Quoc Te Street, District 03, Ho Chi Minh City to visit Laboratory for Nanotechnology (LNT) and Campus of Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) then depart for Vung Tau City (Conference venue).

b) For domestic participants:

The IWNA Local Organizing Committee will arrange the buses to collect the Guests at the Southern Office of Ministry of Education and Training, 03 Cong Truong Quoc Te Street, District 03, Ho Chi Minh City.  

 

Pick-up hour: 13:00 

 

Travel plan: from the Southern Office of Ministry of Education and Training, 03 Cong Truong Quoc Te Street, District 03, Ho Chi Minh City, the participants will visit LNT and VNU-HCM then depart from LNT to Vung tau (Conference venue).

 

c) For participants travelling freely:

From the Tan Son Nhat Airport - Ho Chi Minh City you can take taxi to go to Saigon Port (Address: 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Dist 4, HCM City), which takes 30 to 45 minutes. From there, you continue to take the hydrofoil to go to Cau Da Wharf - Vung tau City (Conference venue), which takes 1h20’.

- You are also recommended to refer to the schedule of the hydrofoil to choose suitable flight, the suitable arrival time of which may help you avoid waiting for the hydrofoil.

 

II. Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City


On Saturday, 14th November, 2015.

 

The IWNA Local Organizing Committee will arrange buses for participants who want to go back to Ho Chi Minh City after the conference ends.

 

Departs at: 13:45

 

Travel plan: Departure from Palace Hotel - Vung Tau for Ho Chi Minh City

 


 Venue

The Fifth International Workshop on Nanotechnology and Application IWNA 2015 will be held at Palace Hotel in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Vung Tau is one of the most beautiful resort cities in the southern of Vietnam which is located 125 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Vung Tau belongs to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, and it is the biggest petroleum center in Vietnam. However, Vung Tau is even more interesting because of its extensive beaches. Tourists often prefer sightseeing at Front Beach (Bai Truoc) then go swimming in Back Beach (Bai Sau). Back Beach is well-known for its over 10 km-long fine sand seaside. Vung Tau also offers one of the most well known golf courses in Vietnam. From Ho Chi Minh City, it takes about two hours to reach Vung Tau by car (along 51A Expressway) or about one hour by hydrofoil express ferry.

 IWNA 2015 will be held at Palace Hotel VungTau, Viet Nam

 

All the participants are invited to join the following events:

- Vung Tau sightseeing tour

- The banquet

- Welcome Party at Palace hotel in Vung Tau City (Conference venue) at 19h00 on 11th November  2015.
