Locating near the main highway running from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to Thu Duc District, INT can be reached easily only with 30 minutes by bus. This ideal position grants INT a rather peace, pure and natural atmosphere for scientific and academic activities.

INT has approximately 1000 square meter of Vietnam National University property. On this location we have three buildings, the first one is  the main building especially designed for clean room and other facilities, it is also the official office for administration and operation; the second one is the reserved building for education activity; the last one is dedicated office for Laboratory Council and some research staffs.

Transportation to Institute for Nanotechnology (INT) from Tan Son Nhat airport:
     Institute for Nanotechnology (INT) is 25 km far away from Tan Son Nhat Airport. The time taken to travel varies from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on transportation means.
Bus and taxi are most popular choices to travel.

Bus:

• There is a bus stop right at the front of international gate of Tan Son Nhat airport. Just passing the gate of Tan Son Nhat airport and you’ll see it. Take the bus No. 152 with the route name “Ben Thanh – Tan Son Nhat” on it, tell the bus driver that your destination is Ben Thanh market.
• After you arrive at Ben Thanh market, find the way to Ben Thanh bus station near there (you can show the map to any passenger around there to ask where Ben Thanh bus station is). At Ben Thanh bus station, catch the bus No. S09 with route name "Ben Thanh - DH Khoa Hoc Tu Nhien". Tell the bus driver that your destination is Đại Học Quốc Gia (VietnamNational University) at Linh Trung - Thu Duc.
• After leaving the bus, you will see the sign “Institute for Nanotechnology” at the other side of the road (the left side of the road).
• In general you’ll have to catch two buses to go from Tan Son Nhat Airport to INT. The ticket price for each bus is 3.000VND (which is about 1/6 USD).
• You can hardly find a bus with a driver capable of speaking English. So the best way to communicate is to show your destination in written form (in Vietnamese) to the drivers. In the first bus, you should write down “Chợ Bến Thành”, in the second bus, you should write down “Đại Học Quốc Gia Linh Trung Thủ Đức”.
• It will take 2 hours to go from the airport to INT (total 2 routes).

     No. 152: Monday – Sunday
       * Depart from Tan Son Nhat Airport: 06h30 - 18h00
       * Depart from Ben Thanh (back to Tan Son Nhat Airport): 06h00 - 18h00
     No. S09: Monday – Saturday
       * Depart from Ben Thanh: 5h40 - 16h35
       * Depart from INT (back to Ben Thanh):  6h35 - 17h25

Taxi:

• There are abundant taxi at the Airport for your choice. Tell the taxi driver that your destination is Đại Học Quốc Gia (Vietnamese National University) at Linh Trung – Thu Duc or you can give the address of LNT to them. All taxi operate on a metered system, but the passenger will also be responsible for the cost of highway tolls.
• Average price for a trip on taxi from the Airport to LNT is 400.000VND (about 20 USD).
• If there is no traffic jam, it can take you only 45 minutes.
• Taxi schedule: anytime.
